Exclamation [1.0.2 OTB] Upgraded to 1.1.1. Issue

I owned a 1.0.2 phone (03.14.08_G) and unlocked it months ago. Here's the problem: in my preferences it shows NO WI FI, and I a unable to toggle or change the Wi Fi setting. Without accessing wiFi I now I cant unlock.

    Any Help?

I'm not positive this will help ya, but check out how I fixed my bricked phone (1.0.2) without bluetooth, wi-fi, or anything else working. I explained it step by step here. Some links might be outdated, but it's very easy to find utilities and necessary files.

    Good luck.

    hey rob99sp, same problem here.
I had 1.1.2 OTB, restored to 1.1.1, and then the same "no wi-fi" problem as you.
For more details about it, check this threat:

    That's impossible for us!
I have a 1.1.2 OTB, and when I restore to 1.1.1, wifi disapears, so there's no way to get into jailbreakme.com.
Believe us, this is a serious problem, and there's no info around about this issue.

this is what i did when i had that problem, mine had no wifi as well, what u have to do is restore to 1.1.2 so it will rewrite the baseband, make sure it is in dfu mode though when u r doing this. then downgrade to 1.1.1 (this should bring back the wifi) and jalibreak it using whatever method, then u can add i.unlock.no as a source and download the baseband downgrader, once this completes the restore back to 1.1.1 and rejailbreak and u are done. if the baseband downgrader program doesnt work, which is what happened to me, then start over and use the virginizer instead. let me kno how it goes...

Ajustes > General > Restablecer > Restablecer ajustes de red

Se reinicio el iPhone, y listo, no tuve que volver a poner el firmware...

I'm going to translate what he said....

"I had the same problem, I couldn't connect to my WiFi even if it was active, and when I was in the activation (prefs://1F) I've done this:

Settings > General > Reset > Reset Network Settings

The iPhone restarts and it's done, I had no need to do it all over again"

Ta-Da!, hope my traslation helps even if my English sucks! XDD

Not at all. When I restore to 1.1.2, wifi is there, but when restoring again 1.1.1, wifi is gone...

Not baseband downgrader for me, I'm with a 1.1.2 OTB

So, unfortunately for me, it's not that easy...

    Help please
