Exclamation [1.0.2 OTB] "REPAIR NEEDED..." can't connect to iBrickr

    Dear guys,

I have a big problem with my iphone cause now the sign "REPAIR NEEDED..." appear on the screen. It bricked! When I use iBrick it say "the phone is not connected". I've been try this for few times (also restart the Windows/PC)

Before that message (Repair needed...), I restored it to the 1.0.2 and seemed OK. But after that it say "Repair needed..." BTW, it was 1.1.1 when I bought and already use it for a week perfectly before my friend borrowed it and made it crash hehehe

Maybe someone here can tell me how to connect it with iBrick in this condition.
Well guys...would you please be kind enough to help me with this? Thanks again...

I did restore to 1.0.2 --->at the restoring "an occured [1012] click ok --->close itunes, the iphone still in recovery mode (triangle appear) ---> run the app tapp ---> at the and "Sending files failed" and the iphone go back to the ACTIVATION and emergency call with "REPAIR NEEDED..." again.

Try using ibrick after that, but it wont detect the iphone.

is someone has an idea about this? Thanks before hands...

This is what I did to get out of the 0049 IMEI (the iPhone was 1.0.2) By the way a good starting point would be to restore the 1.1.2 ver and then try the following steps (I fix my like this)

    1.- Downgrade to version 1.0.2
    2.- Use package Downgrade_1.1.2_complete (http://www.4$hared.com/file/29599306/4db767ff/Downgrade_112_Complete.html)
    3.- Activate/Jailbreak iPhone in version 1.0.2
    4.- Install SSH
5.- Copy "Baseband" folder to /usr/bin in iPhone
6.- Connect via ssh to iPhone
    7.- Run the following commands
    launchctl unload /System/Library/LaunchDaemons/com.apple.CommCenter.plist
    cd /usr/bin
    chmod +x ieraser
    chmod +x bbupdater
    ieraser
    bbupdater -v
    bbupdater -f *.fls -e *.eep
(After a 2-3 minute wait it should be done. Now type
    bbupdater -v
(It should show 3.14_08... NOTE: the IMEI may still be wrong)
    launchctl load -w /System/Library/LaunchDaemons/com.apple.CommCenter.plist
8.- Restore version1.0.2 again (to clean up)
    9.- Activate/Jailbreak iPhone in version 1.0.2
    10.- Install SSH
    11.- Download Virginizer_Pack (http://code.g__gle.com/p/iphone-elit...irginizingTool)
12.- Connect via ssh to iPhone
13.- Copy Virginizer_Pack folder to /usr/bin in iPhone
    14.- Backup seczone (SLOW):
    0. cd /usr/bin/virginizer_pack
    launchctl unload /System/Library/LaunchDaemons/com.apple.CommCenter.plist
    chmod +x ./norz
    ./norz seczone.backup 0x3FA000 0x2000
    15.- Execute Virginizer procedure:
    0. chmod +x ./iUnlock
    ./iUnlock ./ICE03.14.08_G.fls ./eliteloader.bin
    0. chmod +x ./bbupdater
    0. ./bbupdater -v
    16.- Now reflash BB FirmWare
    ./bbupdater -f ./ICE03.14.08_G.fls -e ./ICE03.14.08_G.eep
    17.- Recheck el BB
    ./bbupdater -v
    18.- Restart CommCenter
    launchctl load -w /System/Library/LaunchDaemons/com.apple.CommCenter.plist
    19.- Restart iPhone.

Now, You should have your phone jailbroken and activated in 1.0.2, if you wish you can upgrade it or jus use AnySIM and unlocked it in 1.0.2 ver

I hope it works for you as well

Ask your friend to give you the money you pay for this iPhone and then tell him he just won a very sexy paperweight.

If it's showing "repair needed" then the baseband is fucked and basically not there, so iTunes should be able to reflash it.

I've been in this brick state a few times (no IMEI/ICCID, no Wi-Fi, repair needed) and here's what I did:

    1. Restore to 1.1.1 (in recovery mode). Error, couldn't flash baseband.
    2. Restore to 1.0.2. Revives the baseband.
    3. Back to 1.1.1
