Followed your instructions, reach the point:

"Spamming AT, waiting for a response"

    What happens next?

    What happens next?
the same output as mine. nothing happens and you must restart the iphone.

what i'm wondering is that the normally output must look like this:
    # iunew
    Resetting the Baseband...Done
    Opened: /dev/tty.debug
    iUnlocker: tool by geohot
uploads and runs testcode.bb in the same dir
uploads the nor image in "nor"
make sure your switch is on
thanks to iProof and lazyc0der for finding this method
thanks to the siemens guys for discovering it
and thanks to nightwatch for the awesome toolchain
Spamming AT, waiting for a response
    Attempting to read[1]...c0
    Connected established to bootrom
    File size: 1608
    Checksum: 0x37
    Attempting to read[2]...c1
    TESTPOINT WORKS: 55

    but my output is that:
    # iunew
    Resetting the Baseband...Done
    Opened: /dev/tty.debug
    iUnlocker: tool by geohot
Spamming AT, waiting for a response

    w/o the lines
uploads and runs testcode.bb in the same dir
uploads the nor image in "nor"
between "iunew" and "spamming AT, waiting for a response"

why these lines are missing, although these lines have to come out before the line "spamming AT, waiting for a response"?

perhaps the files testcode.bb and nor are corrupt?
i dont really know, but its an idea.

sure. i've set every single file to chmod +x /usr/bin/filename.
i tried chmod 777 /usr/bin/filename as well. altogether six files (ienew, iunew, main.c, nor, secpack and the testcode.bb). but i dont have tested with chmod +x 775. i'll try.

on the iphone i have an app called Squid-0.2.2.pxl. whit that app you can change and check the permissions from each file. very helpful and easy to handle. every six files have the permission execute, read and write.

anyway, if the permissions are not set correct i would get the output "access denied" or something like that.

bit by bit i must hardly recognice that i've really really bricked my phone.....
hope not but it looks like.

and i dont know how long the trace (A) will endure this procedure....

if anybody got a solution let me know.

I'm curious, what EXACTLY does everyone with this problem's iPhone say in the about screen for WiFi Address, Bluetooth, IMEI, ICCID, and modem firmware?
