About LinkBacksis it possible to install oktoprep in 1.0.2 with 3.14.08_G modem firmware
i'm on unlocked 1.0.2 would like to directly update to 1.1.2
here's what i'm about to do
1. revirginize
2. install oktoprep
3. update to 1.1.2 (using itunes 7.5?)
4. jailbreak 1.1.2
5. install bsd subsystem
6. install anysim 1.2.1u
7. enable airplane mode
8. then run anysim...hopefully successful unlock!
i'm just soliciting for confirmation and/or suggestions....thanks!!!

yup from 102 t0 112 will do....
tried and tested

I have a phone (week 45) running 1.0.2 that I am using with a NextSim (which works).
Modem firmware is 4.02.13_g
I want to update to 1.1.2 and I know I should install oktoprep...but can I install it right into 1.0.2, then update to 1.1.2 (just using iTunes update button) and just run jailbreakme.jar?
Is that all there is to it or do I have to update to 1.1.1 because of this modem firmware?
Please help???

I need the 1.1.2 firmware to operate properly on my carrier...(for sms voicemail notification).
this is a 45 week phone, not a 1.0.2 native phone...I don't think it could be software unlocked.
Can someone help me with the ocktoprep question???
