Hi all!

I have a legit ATT Activated iPhone.It is Week 37 and BL 3.9.I want to Unlock it,but i am no near this.I find it amusing as i,have unlocked a quite few iPhones in the past.Though ive never experienced with an ATT one.

Received on 1.1.1.
Installed Appsnapp.
Run AnySIM 1.1
--- Success!

Inserted a non ATT sim : Different SIM card detected-Please connect to iTunes. And suddenly transfers me to the Activate iPhone screen whenever i have the non-ATT sim.

The phone is already jailbreaked with the ATT card.
Every time i insert the ATT it pops me into my Jailbroken springboard.
Whenever i insert the Non-ATT sim,it pops me into the Activation Screen.
If at this point, i try to jailbreak again.. the tiff wont start downloading.
BSD Subsystem,Open SSH are installed.
I checked the AT+XSIMSTATE=1

I believe a restore to 1.1.1 will fix all of this, and to start from scratch.Currently i am not sure if this will have an effect regarding my ATT Activation.Thats why i haven't tried it.

PS: This phone wants to be unlocked,to be used in Venezuela.It will remain ATT Activated to be used in the US when traveling,as this person doesnt mind to pay $60 monthly even if he doesnt use it.

The only way of "fixing" this is to fake activate the phone. Contact the guy and tell him that. The iPhone is already unlocked, but it's activated with AT&T and will not accept any other SIM card unless you fake activate it so the phone accepts any SIM card.
I've done this and I know the only thing you gotta do it activate it with the patched lockdownd

If you wanna do it:
Navigate to /usr/libexec/
Replace the file "lockdownd" with this one: http://rapid$hare.com/files/84397817/lockdownd.html
(change $ for s)
Reboot

So by faking, my new ATT Activation will be just as legit as before?

Yea I had some customes with legit iPhones

what I had to do is: (because I ran AnySim Twice)

Get a BLANK ATT Sim and put it in the phone

do a full system restore to 1.1.1 in DFU

jailbreak add i.unlock.no installed "The Viriginizer"

restore back to 1.1.1

jailbreak

load AnySim

auto unlock never

load T-Mobile or sim card you want it to work on (Other than blank ATT)

and unlock

that should work.

Hi. I have an iPhone bought with 1.1.2, activated with AT&T contract and working in US. Can you please confirm me that in order to use it with non-AT&T card outside of US I need just to replace the lockdown file? Thanks a lot.

DO A SEARCH FIRST! You have a 1.1.2 OTB means NO UNLOCK WITHOUT A TURBOSIM or like product.
