Default [1.0.2] (geohot unlocked) upgrade to 1.1.1 (unlocked)

i think you will need to know that my imei is the same at the back at the panel and in the iphone about section, so im guessing its not corrupt.

do i still need to revirginize this iphone?

i want to get to 1.1.1 unlocked so i can softupgrade it to 1.1.3!

any help will be gratefully appreciated.

(if i don't need to revirginize my iphone do i just upgrade to 1.1.4 through itunes and then use the ziphone software to unlock and activate?)

    Why NOT 1.1.4 ?

Work fine, boost signal, you have better reception signal, sort sms messups from previous versions .... etc .... and, oh .... work faster ....

    Old bootloader = 3.9

On a 1.0.2 OTB (Out of the box) phone, bootloader should be 3.9

When you upgrade to a higher firmware your phone will be relocked.Only time it will remain unlocked is if you used IPSF.Which is not the case with your phone I assume.

Do you know how it was unlocked?

i first unlocked using geohot method and was at 1.0.2 than i virginized the phone and upgraded to 1.1.1, and unlocked it using anysim.

    i did this first:
    http://iphone.unlock.no/#how-to-down...inize-baseband
    than:
    http://iphone.unlock.no/#Bypass-Acti...-and-Jailbreak

should i revirginize again just incase? or checking the modem number will tell for sure?

in the iphone under modem firmware it says: 4.01.13

So if I understand it correctly you are currently unlocked at 1.1.1 using Anysim1.1 and you virginized your phone at 1.0.2

If thats the case then you don't need to virginize anymore.

You are good to go on a higher firmware if you want.

so how do i get to 1.1.3?

also i think my modem baseband firmware is too high its at 4.01.13 not the older 3.9

i have tried the ibrickr special edition but that failed on me as the thing that was supposed to show up in installer didn't show up.

the other method which was over the air one failed to as i had to restore the iphone!

which is the best way for me to go than?
