On 1.0.2, bad 04.03.13_G BB - creative mind needed!
After a botched unlock on 1.1.3 with a (now damaged) Baseband 04.03.13_G, my phone's now bricked. It's a 3.9BL from week 45, but I was able to downgrade to FW 1.0.2.
All jailbreaking methods have failed:
AppTapp installer (stops at step 4)
iBrickr (white scrolling text and reboot loop)
Pacay ('file doesn't exists')
I have a feeling there is some life in the old dog yet, but it needs a greater mind than myself to revive the phone.
Oh ye gods! Is there anything you can suggest to help poor old me? Uhm, other than wait for next BB/FW upgrade, of course?
restore 1.1.1, JB, hope you have wifi and downgrade BB with package from i.unlock.no
No good: baseband will not get repaired like this.

Once I upgrade to 1.1.1 again though, the dialler doesn't really work (no sounds either etc), and I'm not getting anywhere with it.
I'm sure the phone's not dead! There must be something I can do, no?
I had the same problem... Do you have Itunes 7.6 installed? If so, then you need to remove it and install 7.4 or use a PC that has an older version of Itunes. I do not know how, but it messes with jailbreaking 1.0.2.
I used a friends laptop, installed Itunes 7.4 used AppTapp and PACAY, worked like a charm... Then installed i.unlock.no as a source, used the baseband downgrader, virginizer and voila, I had 1.0.2 with the 3.xxx baseband.
That was good advice, thank you!
I have been able to jailbreak 1.0.2. I got WIFI too, so have been able to install applications.
However, when it came to running the Baseband Downgrader, it breaks off just when it's about to erase the baseband with "Main script execution failed". The same happens if I try to run the Virginiser.
Not sure where to go from here, but it feels like I'm getting someplace now!
UPDATE: Just taking the phone out of the dock made it work! BB downgraded since, currently updating to 1.1.1, hoping for the best!

Solution for BAD / NO IMEI etc
This is THE SOLUTION (tested myself after 2 days messing around with IMEI: Unknown, ICCID:Unknown, No WiFi, No Baseband, No ..... etc)
ziphone [-u] [-a] [-j] [-i imei]
-u: Unlock (Only for 4.6 BL)
-i: Change imei (Only for 4.6 BL)
-v: Verbose boot (debug)
On Windows :
then enter CMD
you will get dos screen
Select the path where you have kept the ziphone files (example C:\ZiPhone)
Of Course you must FIRST RESTORE to 1.1.3
type ziphone.exe -j -a
DO WHAT IT ASK !!!! *Docking Station*
Wait about 45 secs .... You will get activated iPhone Springboard
type iphone.exe -u
MOST IMPORTANT :
To REPAIR a *DEAD* baseband, do THIS:
Put the iphone in recovery mode (NOT DFU..normal recovery mode)
Then run: ziphone -u
And you will have back IMEI and WIFI.
This procedure already worked on 4 phones
Way to go Zibree .....
YAHOO! I'm back in business again! Upgrade to 1.1.1 worked.
Phew. Those were two hard days, but I'm back to where I've started from again.
Thanks for the iTunes 7.4 tip! That made all the difference!
