[1.0.2 to 1.1.4] I can't make/receive calls
Hello,
This is my first thread, so I'm a little excited about it
Recently, a friend of mine gave me his iphone with fw 1.0.2 and asked me to upgrade it to 1.1.4, and I connected the phone to my macbook and upgraded it by putting it into dfu mode and restoring to 1.1.4, without virginizing. The result was not surprise, I had no signal. Then I remembered that I had to virginize it. Using iDemocracy, I downgraded the baseband of the phone to 1.1.1 baseband and restored it to 1.1.1, to run the virginizer tool from i.unlock.no source. I ran the virginizer, upgraded back to 1.1.4, but still no results.
Then I downgraded back to 1.1.1. Using the i.unlock.no source, I downloaded the Baseband Downgrader and downgraded my baseband, then virginized again, upgraded to 1.1.4, but still no results.
Today, I used the pwnage tool to upgrade it to 2.0, still nothing changed. I can't make/receive calls. I can see the carrier's logo on the display, It looks like there is signal (3 bars), but I can't make/receive calls, can't send text messages, can't receive text messages, no edge, nothing...
What am I doing wrong? I spent my 3 days working on this phone, but couldn't get to somewhere.
