I did unlock about 50 iphones between 1.02 and 1.1.1, all the 1.02 version I did the virginize process and upgrade them to 1.1.1 because this version from my point of view worths, but do you thing all the process worth for version 1.1.2 ?

i read that 1.1.2 fixed some issues with international SIM cards, i guess that's worth the upgrade but the method contains AnySIM 1.2u and that is not a dev team app although many had success unlocking with it but i'm afraid to use as i have no idea if it changes the basband or not like what happened with the early AnySIM which led to bricking ! so any enlightening from anyone would be much appreciated..

anysim 1.2u is anysim 1.1 with some altered code to work with baseband 4.02.13_G. The unlocking is based on the same principles and if used properly, NO BRICKING POSSIBLE

thanks for the heads up..but i'm wondering why didnt dev team announced official release and denied any responsibility for 1.2u??

The reason the dev team didn't announce the official release is because the dev team is really busy providing an unlock for 1.1.2 out of the box iphones with the new bootloader. They will not release any version until get the secpack from firmware 1.1.3 to unlock 1.1.2 OTB. Until then there will not be a dev team release. It might take even two or three months after 1.1.3 because the new bootloader is very strict on checking the baseband signature.

My suggestion is that if you want to unlock you shouldn't wait for the dev. The elite version is just as safe. The reason why they don't take responsibility is because it's just not their work.

Trust me I unlocked perfectly and I'm on 1.1.2

anysim 1.1.2u works like a charm. i have used it on 2 phones and got no problems at all. perfect. just follow all of the steps and it will work.
