    Default 1.0.2 and 04.XX upgrade to 1.1.1 or 1.1.2?

    I have 1.0.2 with 04.xx baseband and original IMEI (non 0049 and same as IMEI curved at the back cover). Which version I should choose for upgrade and which procedure. Please advice with step by step instruction as I tried a few times without success.

    I know most people may say use search. I ahve done a lot of search but haven't find any phone with original IMEI. Everybody talks about virginizing but since my IMEI is same as original my seczone is not corrupted. Thats why coudn't find any similar case. Please spend a little time and share your experiences. By the way isn't this the reason for all of us sharing our experiences?

    I recommend you step up to 1.1.1 so long as your baseband is 4.01.xx. If it's 4.02.xx, then you'll need to perform a baseband downgrade first.

    Check out www.iunlock.no, all the info you need for unlocking 1.1.1 is there including links to download firmware. I suggest you download 1.0.2, 1.1.1 and 1.1.2 firmwares and keep them handy in the event you may in the future need them.
