    Default What's wrong with ios6?

I have seen a lot of people saying they were downgrading from 6 to 5. Is there something wrong with iOS6 that is causing people to prefer not to deal with it? Usually it seems like techie people prefer the newest version of things.

iOS6 has a couple of notable bugs in the earlier releases -- whether they be battery life related, lock screen related, Exchange ActiveSync related, etc. It's stabilized a lot in iOS 6.1.2 and iOS 6.1.3, but 6.0 and 6.1 weren't the greatest releases. Depending on the device you have, iOS6 can be fairly slow. It also introduced fairly large changes in the communication mechanism to third party accessories, so a lot of people with car audio kits that don't use A2DP bluetooth are having trouble connecting it to their cars.

If someone upgraded to one of the earlier, faulty versions of 6, wouldn't it be better to upgrade to the next stable version instead of downgrading, generally?

It would seem to be a better idea to upgrade but dealing with apple sometimes better to go way back instead of forward,Remind's me of 4.1 to 4.2.1 went back to 4.1,,4.2 was disappointing but with ios 6, I am thinking that 6.1.2 is not bad for right now my battery does ok,and the full screen feature in 6 is the best improvement.

Sometimes when new products come out, people complain about features they really miss on the older models. By taking the consumers concerns into consideration, companies can retain their customers, and even gain some new ones. I am sure that is the case with Apple.
