Dear all,

I am having 2 iPhone 3gs 16GB, both is now dead with white screen. when I heard that jailbreak for ios 5.1.1 is out, I was trying to upgrade 5.0.1 to 5.1.1.

First I have created custom ipsw using sn0wbreez, put my phone into dfu mode and restored from itunes custom ipsw. I could see the sn0wbreez logo and line below, after that it has gone in to recovery loop. Now I see only white screen, after as per given solution for white screen, I have opened iphone socket 1,2 and 3 for one hour. After that whatever I do using redsn0w or itunes. If i restore from itunes even using stock ipsw, it shows white screen with error 3194, 28, 1600, 1601 etc.

I am using following:
iTunes version 10.6.3.25
iPhone OS version before restore 5.0.1/ update 5.1.1
Platform Windows xp sp3

For both the iphone I have done same thing and now both iPhone is dead white screen. I have doubt in my mind that for both Iphone, I have used custom ipsw (made from sn0wbreez), I think i have made some mistake using sn0wbreez. I dont know. Previously I ahve used iFaith and it works fine.

Guys pls help me to get out from white screen and recovery loop.

Finally I could get one iPhone back to work, what I have done is first created custom ipsw using iFaith with shsh blobs for that device, tried restoring custom ipsw using itunes, I got error 28, so I know about the error. yesterday whole night I opened iPhone and kept open all the night, In the morning, put iPhone in DFU and restored custom ipsw and then jailbreak using redsn0w, that's it.

I think sn0wbreez has done something wrong, I would suggest sn0wbreez team that they should look around this white screen issue, if used custom ipsw, created with sn0wbreez.
