Want to unlock an used iPhone 4 upgraded to iOS 5 from AT&T user
I'm using a 3GS right now. I just bought a AT&T iPhone 4 from someone that is upgraded to iOS 5.
I have already hacktivate it by using a legit AT&T sim.
What are my options to untethered jailbreak and later, unlock my iPhone 4 for T-Mobile?

A) There is no untethered jailbreak for iOS 5 on the iPhone 4 at present.
B) There is no unlock for the baseband installed by iOS 5 on the iPhone 4 at present. Please confirm what baseband you have (the seller may have blocked baseband update) and let us know, that may provide you more flexibility.
Sorry to be the bearer of bad news.

His post mentioned that unfortunately it was locked to AT&T, so it's not a factory unlock or able to be unlocked by the carrier directly. It definitely isn't good news for the OP.
