    Default Unable to Access Email on iPad

    We upgraded our iphone 4's and iPad 1 last week. other than a few hitches, everything seemed to work fine once we rebooted our devices. However, this morning my wife is not able to access her email (icloud/mobileme account) on her iPad. The message says that her user ID or password is incorrect. We did not make any changes to the iPad. Her iphone is working fine. Has anyone have or had this problem?

    I know this sounds stupid, but are you sure the password and username are correct? My wife mistakenly put in her Apple ID without the e-mail address and had the same problem, then realized that the e-mail address was her Apple ID now.

    We tried retyping the User ID and password again and it didn't work. What we ended up doing was deleting the iCloud account from the iPad then reinstalling. What actually happened was TWO iCloud accounts were showing up on her iPad, one, I believe was the old MobileMe account and the other the new iCloud account. Since we switched over, the MobileMe account was deactivated so my guess was that error message was coming from the old account and not iCloud.

    Ah, gotcha. Good catch and thanks for letting us know what the problem was -- hopefully if anyone else has the same issue they'll find this thread and see your answer!
