Hello,
I'd like to view sites through other countries, and have used the cydia app location spoofer, but find out it doesn't work. While it can spoof a location in other countries for map use purposes, it doesn't work for most things. I.e. websites will still somehow detect you as a USA user. Is there anything to set up a web proxy in Cydia, as you would for a computer? Thanks for any help.
Well websites etc. detect your location from your IP, you need to use either a proxy or a VPN to get another one. If you want a none US IP, sign for a VPN service like anonine (https://www.anonine.com/en) or swissvpn (SwissVPN - Surf the safer way!). You will get a outbound IP adress from their country once dialed in to their service and done. VPN can be set up in your iOS device in no time, even without jailbreak.
