Hello everyone, have unlcoked quite a few 3g's with great success but stuck on my first 3gs.

Iphone 3gs
New bootrom
upgraded to 5.0.1 using redsn0w following instructions on iclarified
BB kept at 05.12.01
SSHS saved when on 3.1.3

Ok so everything went to plan, after jailbreaking I installed ultrasn0w. Phone recognises Vodaphone sim but every min or so it looses signal then finds it again.

reinstalled mobile substrate several times, reinstalled ultrasn0w several times. Same thing happening.

I am a little lost as to what to try next, should I install the ipad baseband? I know I cant go back after, also read somewhere that ultrsn0w doesnt unlock 5.0.1.

Any advice please?

OK I found a solution (just wanted to post solution incase anyone else stumbles upon my problem) I installed the Ultrasn0w patch for 3gs 5.0.1 and it worked.
