jailbreak doesn't work on ios5
hey i have a factory unlocked iphone 4 on ios 5 with baseband 04.11.08. when jailbreak with redsn0w 09.9b8 my safari doen't work and cydia is a plain white icon and when i press it ... it loads for 1 second and auto exits ... what maybe the problem and how can i resolve it ?

That is behavior by design -- you really should read the documentation before using the tools (or, only get the tools at their respective authorized websites to ensure they come with the proper documentation). You have either a tethered or semi-tethered jailbreak which means you must kickstart the phone with redsn0w if you want jailbroken apps to work. That said, an untethered jailbreak for 5.0.1 was released this morning -- you can either open Cydia and install corona or you can go to the dev-team's website and download the latest redsn0w and re-jailbreak your device to solve this problem.
That said, I really don't recommend jailbreaking your device if you're not going to read the documentation -- one day (especially with the number of iOS 5 incompatible packages in Cydia at present) you'll just end up bootlooping the device if you're not paying attention. The documentation is usually pretty important
