iPhone 4 (GSM) can't restore with stock firmware (1602)
Hello,
congratulations for nice forum and sorry for my bad english
I have iPhone 4 (GSM). It was with 5.0.1 jailbroken. After restart iPhone stuck on Apple logo and can't start again.
I trying to restore with official ipsw, but always give error 1602.
I trying on 4 different machines ( 3 windows xp, 1 ma c osx 10.7), 3 different cables, but always same.
iPhone enter in DFU, can't enter in Recovery mode.
Hosts is OK.
Please help. It's possible hardware problem.

You're correct -- it looks to be a hardware problem either with the charging circuit or the battery. The cheapest thing to try is to replace the battery and see if it solves the problem. If not, it could be a main logic board replacement that is needed.

Then the obvious based on my previous comment is that it is likely the charging circuit on the mainboard. My best recommendation is to take it to either an authorized Apple repair shop to have them replace, or to bring it to a local repair shop that specializes in Apple / iPhone repair. This is the only way to be 100% certain that replacing the logic board will fix the problem, they should have the tools to do so.
Good luck!
