Angry iPhone 4 comes back to life, WILL NOT RESTORE

    Hey Guys, Got a problem.

I got an iPhone 4 from a friend to sell on ebay for parts because it was water damaged and was not turning on. I've had it sitting on my desk for months without doing anything with it. So the other night I decided to just plug it in and see if it would just do anything. TO MY SUPRISE! It turned on.

It's stuck on apple boot logo screen (Recovery Loop?)

It will not restore, I've tried everything I know: Downloaded 5.0, 5.0.1 and even downloaded the newest windows updates and newest iTunes.

Still getting 1602 errors everytime I try. It says it after it tries to "Verify restore with APPLE"
I've tried PWN'd DFU also, still no go.

    Any ideas?

Make sure you have removed all lines in your hosts file that point to gs.apple.com -- these cause restores to fail now, since the baseband portion can't be faked or ignored. That' usually the cause of the 160x errors.
