iOS 5.1.1 - Autocorrection tweak does not work
Hello dear Hackint0sh community,
this will be my very first posting on this forum, so please bear with me, if I posted in the wrong section of the forums.
I have also used the search function already, but could not find any topic mentioning my problem, which is the following:
I have an iPhone 4S with iOS 5.1.1 jailbroken with Absinthe 2.0.4 (on Windows7). Everything works perfectly and I am really happy
Except for one thing. On my 3Gs on a lower iOS version I used to install the "Autocorrection Bar" tweak (see picture below)
I really liked that tweak, but I know that many people hate it deeply, so please don't advise me to not use it if this is your opinion ;-).
Now I wanted to install the tweak again, and it seems to do so (adds the Settings --> Autocorrection Bar thing), but it doesn't appear on top of the keyboard. I read there is a possibility to directly edit a *.plist file within the iPhone's file structure, and I ssh'd into the phone, edited the file, reuploaded it and rebooted, but to no avail, the tweak is not applied.
Also I cannot find anything on the web concerning the compatibility of iOS 5.1.1. I can only find old posts (from January '12 and earlier) that show that the tweak is supposed to work on iOS 5.0.X, so I thought the only thing to do would be to visit a forum of pros
Hope you can help me with this.
This may or may not help...
Make certain that everything is in the ON position...you would be surprised how many have things in the OFF position...

Anyone else have the same error? Or better: Anyone who got it working?

Is it advertised in Cydia as working with your current firmware?
It says it Requires iOS 4.3 or higher.

However, it does not specifically state anywhere that it is compatible to iOS 5.1.1
That is why I also tried tweaking the aforementioned *.plist file but to no effect. I can't believe that Apple actually used a small bug-fix update to patch this thing out :/
