Hi I just installed IOS5 on my Iphone 4 and iTunes 10.5 on my mac.
I am unable to activate it as I am not a developer and dont know now how to access my UDID as the iTunes screen shows "we are unable to complete your activation..."
Can someone help me by telling me an alternative way to get my UDID and perhaps registering me once i get it?
thanks for your support!
M.
Got it from system profile and USB (serial number), it is: 24aac825ccbed0eb1ad902f22....ill email/PM you the full 40 digits.
can someone please help me unlock my iphone by registering my iD?
Thanks a lot!

Your best bet is to go into recovery mode and restore back to iOS4.

That's weird. On my 3GS, before I had my UDID registered (forgot to add this device on ADC account), I wasn't allowed to install iOS5.
Anyway, if you want to stay on iOS5, look at Flea Market (or Google) for any dev willing to register your UDID. Meanwhile, if you need your phone, you may need to roll back to iOS4.

There is no "rolling back" to iOS 4 as far as I know, when you have iOS 5 installed. And the modem firmware is updated to a newer version to. Also does Apple tell this in the install instructions of iOS 5.

I did not tried on iPhone 4, but on a 3GS, yes, you can roll back to iOS 4 at any time, by using XCode.

It's still not possible to rollback baseband (assuming the iOS beta includes an updated baseband for the 3GS).
