vfdecrypt 4.1 help
I have been trying for two days to decrypt the 4.1 filesystem using vfdecrypt (and some tools included in xpwn), and it seems to decrypt fine (using the key on the wiki) but it either corrupts all of the text files (.plist, .strings) or doesnt decode them since every single one comes out empty. I have tried windows 7, and leopard, but each time its the same. Is it just me?

Have you tried leopard or snow leopard? Did you have any problems with 4.0?

I have no way to try Snow Leopard (could never get osx86 to install it, just Leopard), and I have no problems with 4.x (including the 4.2 betas) on any other devices except the iPhone 4 and AppleTV. I am starting to think iOS creates the text files when it accesses it, since most .string files on 4.x on the other devices are blank in the .dmg but contain text on the device.
