I had unlocked my iPhone4 in San Francisco and have been using it with my T-Mobile SIM and everything works perfectly. I am now in Thailand and I pop in a Thai SIM but it complains about the network and it's not working.

Is there something specific about iPhone4? I used my 3G last year when I can put in a Thai SIM, Hong Kong SIM with no problem.

The problem is with your cutting of the thai microsim.

Nothin else cud be wrong

I am using iPhone 4, 4.0.1 usa version, bought in Boston, without any problem with Thai AIS micro-sim.

i cut the Thai SIM the same way i cut my tmobile SIM with the SIM cutter. i can't see that as an issue because tmobile SIM works fine. as far as i'm concerned, all SIM are the same even after you cut it with a SIM cutter.

as for the other guy from Boston, i would expect it to work with any SIM card too, but it did not which really baffles me. i thought maybe apple did something to the iPhone4, even unlocked, you can only use it in the US.
