I just restored my iPhone to iOS 4.3.3! After the process, i inserted my SIM from TIM, and a i got some message on iTunes like "You iphone is unlocked". Here are some interesting points:
I choose to setup the device as a new phone, but all my contacts came back after sync.
With the TIM SIM i still get no signal bars
I tried an Oi SIM, and its working fine.

So, i'm starting to think that my iphone is blacklisted, because i can't think on another problem!
My phone its NOT JB yet, i will try some SIM's from others carriers, and call to a TIM attendant to verify if my phone is blacklisted. I think a can do that, right?

This is quite normal, the contacts are synchronised to your computer's address book and when you set your phone up as new, the contacts are synchronized back to your phone again.

Any other data (saved SMS, high scores in games etc) is NOT restored when you set the phone up as new.

Yes call TIM and ask them to check why you can't use your iPhone on their network.

Now i'm trying a SIM from Claro carrier! And first i got no signal bars, but now it's showing "No Service".
Maybe it's not blacklisted, the problem still continues on software. Or maybe i'm with bad luck, and my phone is blacklisted in more than one carrier?
