    Default Unlock iphone 3g 4.0 successful.....

    hey all ...first of all you need to upgrade your iphone os to 4.0......

    then
    download the redsn0w_win_0.9.5b5-3......

    then
    run the application.....and browse the original firmware which itunes downloaded ......then the application will tell you to put your iphone in DFD mode....put it.....

    then it will automatically download the software in iphone and jailbreak it....


    after jailbreak restart iphone .....connect the iphone to wifi spot....
    then update the cydia application and database......first(imp)
    after updating you need to install Ultrasn0w from cydia....you will get it in search......

    install it...and its done....now you will only need to restart your iphone and your iphone 3g is unlocked with new features like multotasking, background wallpaper, battery percentage....etc

    I did allthis but after installing ultrasnow and restarting, I get a searching for signal then no service.. Can anyone help me?

    Which version of ultrasn0w? Did you have a working unlock before loading iOS 4.0?

    i don't know why this happen to you.....you please restart the iphone and then check it out...if it still doesn't work then again restore it and then jailbreak it and unlock it.have fun
    and hah i dont have got this problem like you got...i dont know why it is with you
