Since I upgraded to the 4S, I wanted to reset my phone and unlock it. I couldn't restore to a given IPSW and so came across TinyUmbrella. I tried to enter recovery mode, which seems to be corrupted at this point.

I keep getting the 3194 error and I have tried various methods to fix this. I also tried Pwnage Tool, which created a custom IPSW but then the restore failed as soon as iTunes extracts the file with a 3194 error.

How do I restore my phone? Thanks in advance.

Ok. It seems this was simply my ignorance. I didn't have the TSS server running at this time. So I ran it but am still getting an error - Error 1604. I have tried all the Apple instructions to fix this error. Any suggestions will be appreciated.
