Default UDID registration - no charge

I just got a iPhone Developer account today. I will register up to 25 UDIDs. No charge. Just PM me with your UDID. You will have to download the 4.0 firmware on your own.

    Update:
All the 25 free slots have been given out. Thanks for your interest!

Default If you are feeling generous...

    donate to Hackint0sh:

    Hackint0sh - Announcements in Forum : iPhone OS 4.0

Without this forum, i probably would not have been able to unlock my iPhone 2G back in 2007.

I have 18 spots left for UDID registration. Same deal. No charge. Or if you are feeling generous, donate to Hackint0sh.

    Default Can't update...

You said you added me... thanks a bunch! But:

My iTunes extracts the firmware, then contacts the Apple Activation Server. Then I get this message:

" The iPhone ___ could not be updated. An unknown error occurred (3000)."

    Anyone know what 3000 means?

Not really sure why you are getting this error. I added the UDID from your PM. Are you sure you have the correct version of firmware? Just for your sake, i will download the official iphone 4.0 firmware for iPhone 3G and do a checksum on it. I'll put in the checksum value later for you to compare.

    Wow, thanks man. However:

    According to:
Update and restore alert messages on iPhone, iPad, and iPod touch
Errors in the 3000 range are to do with contacting the activation server. iTunes has never had trouble before, so I don't know what the problem is.

    Default MD5 checksum

    For iPhone 3G:

The MD5 checksum of iphone_os_4_beta__iphone_3g__8a230m.dmg is:
    43fcf517c58e6731b0a9cac7670593d2

The MD5 checksum of iPhone1,2_4.0_8A230m_Restore.ipsw is:
    1167f3107cda137ea4fa4b5bab21a12e

    For iPhone 3GS:

The MD5 checksum of iphone_os_4_beta__iphone_3gs__8a230m.dmg is:
    8f300c598b9d7af21efc1cb4b393a8b3

The MD5 checksum of iPhone2,1_4.0_8A230m_Restore.ipsw is:
    b7f4501ef6122da7addab344ae5ba58a

To perform a MD5 checksum, if you have a Mac, open Terminal, then enter this command:

md5 <filename> (where <filename> is the name of your iphone 4.0 fimware file)

If the MD5 checksum of the file that you have downloaded does not match mine, you don't have the original.
