    Default Stuck with 3GS ios 4 newbootroom.

    Upgraded my Factory unlocked (new bootroom) 3GS to ios 4.

    Modem Firmware got upgraded to 05.13.04, and I cant jailbreak it now. Any idea how much time to wait for a jailbreak?

    Restoring it to 3.1.3 also doesnt work (error 3194) any ideas on downgrading?

    You'd need an SHSH on file for 3.1.3 or 3.1.2 and to do the hosts file trick in order to downgrade a 3GS to one of those versions.

    The jailbreak for 3GS hardware running on 4.0 will not be out for a little while -- it relies on a new exploit (which I'm not sure has even been turned in to a working jailbreak yet) and as always, dev-team, et. al., want to make sure that they don't deliver a new exploit to Apple on a silver platter until the hardware and software is in a stable state and shouldn't be upgraded or changed in the near future. As Apple has rumored to be putting 4.0.1 out in the next one to two weeks in order to address the reception issue / "death grip" issue, I would assume we definitely wouldn't see one before that is released (or it would give Apple the chance to patch the hole).

    Got it Sir !!! I had SHSH saved on cydia and I've downgraded it to 3.1.3. Will wait for a jailbreak now for ios 4.

    im on latest baseband and 4.0 3gs gutted hope theres a solution soon cos im lost without jailbreak!

    hey bigfishman .. no need to worry if u had saved SHSH on cydia... just try with what I did in the given link : Downgrade iPhone 3G 3GS iOS 4 GM to OS 3.1.3 | iPhone downgrade it to 3.1.3 and enjoy till a jailbreak for ios 4 comes out..

    no shshs phone was already on 4.0 when i bought it and never been jbed before.
