Default Reset All Settings on iPhone 4 4.0.2

Hi, i have an unlocked and jailbroken iPhone 4 on 4.0.2 and lately is been acting up, the texts when they come in and i go in to check them it doesnt show anything but still (1) new message, so i was wondering, if i go to settings and do reset all settings, will i loose the unlock and the jailbreak and would just have to do it again??? Or would the unlock remain and i would just loose the jailbreak?

    Thanks in advanced

No, you won't have to jailbreak and unlock again, the 'reset all settings' option won't affect that, just your preferences.

That's even more specific, it will only reset the network preferences, such as preferred network, wifi password and maybe a few more, but certainly will not affect jailbreak/unlock.

Be careful. There are several options and each of them should only be used in certain circumstances:

    Reset All Settings:
Resets the iPhone to factory defaults, leaving the iOS revision installed. This does not remove all traces of jailbreak data from the filesystem. The phone does not need to have iOS re-installed after this.

    Erase All Content and Settings:
Does exactly what it says -- it completely blanks the iPhone's internal memory, including clearing the installed iOS revision. This removes all traces of jailbreak data from the filesystem. The phone *WILL* require iOS to be reloaded from scratch, which means you will need an SHSH on file to restore a non-current version.

    Reset Network Settings:
Resets your mobile profile configuration, wireless configuration, bluetooth configuration, any non-standard APN or .ipcc configurations and resets the radio back to factory defaults. This has no impact on your jailbreak or unlock and does NOT require you to reload iOS from scratch.

Wanted to clarify this as it's a very common problem for people to run the 'Erase all Content and Settings' without having an SHSH on file, and then they find out too late that it has erased their iOS and they cannot restore to anything but the most updated version (which in many cases will re-lock and unjailbreak their phone).
The preceding forum post has been brought to you by the letter "N" and the number 42.

    iPhone 4, 32GB (iOS 6.1.2 | evasi0n | SHSH: 4.0 - 6.1.2)
    iPad 2 3G, 64GB (iOS 6.1.2 | evasi0n
    |
    SHSH: 4.3 & 4.3.3 - 6.1)
