    Default "Please connect to iTunes"?

So I just downloaded and installed 4.0 on my iPod Touch 2g. I have my UDID registered and am using a mac. It seems to install fine, and once I'm done iTunes regonizes it, starts syncing, and even lists it as running "Software Version: 4.0". However, on my iPod it still has hat "connect to iTunes" picture up. I can take screenshots, put it in sleep, and even turn it off but the rest is not there. Does anyone know what I can do?

You sure you put the right restore file on? I only ask as you've posted this in the 3GS forum!

    Good luck finding a solution...
