Default Need help. Iphone black screen, can't find solution!

Hi everyone! I have iphone 3gs,but it doesnt work, only black screen and apple logo ( greenpoison logo). I tried to restore firmware to version 4.2.1 with Itunes, but it didint work out error apears (3194). Then I tried jailbreak it with redsn0w and it also didnt work out cuz the same black screen appears. Finally. i tried to jailbreak it with greenp0ison and nothing changed. Anyone can help? Any suggestions ?

P.S. I took iphone from repair yesterday, but there was no Wi-Fi, so i did system restore in the iphone and then all the problems started. I think mender had jailbreaked it with greenpoison. (because of reboot logo).

iTunes error 3194 means you don't have SHSH for that firmware (iTunes Errors - The iPhone Wiki)
As you said, you can't boot the phone, it gets stuck on the apple logo, so your only option is to restore. Since you can't restore to 4.2.1 you can try restoring to 4.3 but if that fails too your only option will be 4.3.1. There's currently no good solution to jailbreak 4.3, but you can use sn0wbreeze on windows. As for 4.3.1, there's currently no jailbreak.

Thank you for your reply. However, I tried to restore version 4.3.1, but now i got error 1015 ;/. Also I tried to search for 4.3, but didn't find such version, only .dmg file, but I have windows. As you said, my only option is 4.3.1, but that doesnt work with iTunes also. Maybe got more suggestions ? Or, as I understand correctly, I need to wait till jailbreak for 4.3.1 comes out ?;/

For error 1015 just use TinyUmbrella (http://thefirmwareumbrella.blogspot.com/) to kick out of recovery and it should boot normally.

Thanks again, but now the other problem appears ^^. I followed guide, which shows how to use TinyUmbrella ( To restore simply press “Start TSS Server” then open itunes, hold down shift(windows) or option(mac) then press restore (tiny umbrella only supports restore not update). A windows will open where you can choose the firmware that you want to restore to). But now error 1604 pops up.......... iTunes stops at "preparing iphone for restore" and then error 1604 comes. Maybe I did something wrong with TinyUmbrela?..

I thought you had already restored and it gave you error 1015?
Anyway, you should only use TinyUmbrella to kick out of recovery (no need to start TSS server), restore normally and if you get error 1015 use TinyUmbrella and click in "Kick out of recovery mode.

Oh yea.. Sorry thats my bad, I thought I need to restore it again with TinyUmbrella. Anyway it doesnt work out. Now I tried to exit from recovery with TinyUmbrella, but unsucssesful. Iphone tries to reboot, it fails and recovery mode comes back again. I did it like 5 times now, but still the same... Recovery mode just comes back and iphone doesnt boot;/

Try a DFU restore to original 4.3.1:
    -Connect phone to computer
-hold both buttons for exactly 10 seconds (use a timer)
-Keep holding the home button until iTunes pops up and asks to restore.
-Select 4.3.1 original IPSW and restore.

I did this already. I restored it in DFU mode to 4.3.1 before. Because itunes doesnt recognize iphone without dfu mode. As you said I restored it, then got error 1015, then used TinyUmbrella to exit recovery mode but nothing happened. When I turn on iphone it shows itune logo and cable to it. Mhmh this is so embarrassing...

The "exit recovery mode" and "fix recovery" options that TinyUmbrella offers don't (yet) support iOS 4.3.1 (I think there is limited support for iOS 4.3 - but it doesn't work 100% yet)

    Your two options are:
    1. save a 4.3.1 SHSH NOW and wait for the tools (tinyUmbrella, pwnagetool, greenpois0n, redsn0w) to be updated
    2. actually go and check to see if you have a saved 4.2.1 or 4.3 SHSH (then you might be able to use existing tools to fix your problem)
Please read the stickies & search forum before posting!
