Check the log... if there are any errors - that might explain this

I checked it. The log just shows no reaction when I start to save SHSH. If I press for example " Start TSS Server" the log immediately shows " TSS server started" etc. But no reaction with "Save SHSH"...

    This is TinyUmbrella 4.30.05?

Did you plug in your iPhone and has TinyUmbrella detected it?

Yes it is 4.30.05 TinyUmbrella. And yes I plugged my iphone and TinyUmbrella has detected it. Maybe I can't save SHSH because the phone is in recovery mode ?

Ok, then create a manual device in TinyUmbrella

Force your phone into DFU mode, find your ECID (using device manager [windows] or system profiler [mac])
In Tiny umbrella there is a manual device option, select 3GS from the menu and type in your ECID, you can give any name to the device.
Then select the manual device in the top left of the window and click save SHSH.

I've explained this procedure in more detail elsewhere in this forum, if you need even more step by step directions, search for them.

Ok thank you, this helped. I found my ECID and as you said created manual device and saved SHSH. TinyUmbrella saved 7 SHSH starting from 4.0 to 4.3.1. So whats my options now ? I need to wait till jailbreak comes out for 4.3.1 or I can somehow restore it to 4.2.1?

You have plenty of options now that you have identified which saved SHSH you have.

Use Pwnagetool 4.2 to create a custom 4.2.1 IPSW and restore that (with TinyUmbrella's TSS server running)
