    Question Need help on 4..3.3 firmeware

    I have a feeling this is really obvious for you guys but anytime i download 4.3.3 firmware i get a bounch of random files like this.

    This is because whatever browser you are using is recognizing the file as a .ZIP compressed file and extracting for you.

    Solutions are to get better control over what your browser is doing (you do NOT want it to extract the .ipsw, even if it figures out that it can), use another browser, or have someone else download the file for you.
