Jumbled music when transferred to iPhone
Background:
iPhone 3GS running firmware 04.26.08
iOS 4.3.3 jailbroken
Laptop running Windows 7 64 bit
I am having this weird problem where whenever I sync or manually drag songs onto my iPhone either the iPod app will just not recognise any songs exist or the songs are jumbled up. Jumbled up meaning it may play the middle of the song first then the start and then the end but its random. This started to happen after iTunes crashed once during a sync.
I've tried deleting iTunes and reinstalling, doing a full restore of my iPhone, as in restoring it to a new jailbroken firmware and not restoring from backup but nothing has worked. The weirdest thing is that everything is working perfectly when I use my other laptop that's running Vista 32 bit.
I'm guessing it's got something to do with my 64 bit W7 laptop but I have no idea what else I can try to fix this.
Anyone out there can help? If so thanks in advance.

When you uninstalled, did you delete all of the leftover iTunes files? The Media Library persists between installations even when uninstalled unless manually removed, so it's very possible that the crash during a sync compromised your media library database and it's been following you through reinstalls.

I tried to delete all files but I have a feeling that there could be some that I don't know of that I haven't deleted such as the ones you suggested because I'm not sure what you mean by Media Library. You mind giving me where these files are stored and I'll check and see?

Music library location is set in iTunes, in windows it's a folder under your "My Music" folder, called iTunes Library. Make sure you copy any content that may have been directly imported before deleting...
