Jailbreak iOS 4.3.3 !

iOS 4.3.3 have been released, it is still Untethered Now !
What's New :
Current release for iPhone 3GS, iPhone 4, iPod Touch 3rd and 4th generations, iPad and iPad 2. This update contains changes to the iOS crowd-sourced location database cache .

Reduced size of the iOS crowd-sourced location database cache
No longer backs that cache up to iTunes
Deletes that cache entirely when Location Services turned off

So everyone out there who wants to know the steps :

Download Redsn0w 0.9.6 rc15 & iOS 4.3.3 :

Steps :

- Update your device to 4.3.3 , you can do it in 2 ways :

Update it via iTunes , normal upgrade to 4.3.3 .
Put your Device in DFU Mode then connect it to iTunes, it will tell you that it found a device in DFU mode, just close the message hit left shift on the keyboard then press restore button on iTunes & select iOS firmware 4.3.3, then let it restore the device .

- After Upgrading , open Redsn0w as an Administrator then choose iOS firmware 4.3.3 follow the instruction .

Thats it .

Dev-team has released new version of ultrasn0w, they released ultrasn0w 1.2.3 to unlock iPhone 4 and iPhone 3GS on iOS 4.3.3 on old basebands. check out all supported basebands on ultrasn0w 1.2.3 after the jump

Supported basebands:
01.59.00 / 04.26.08 / 05.11.07 / 05.12.01 / 05.13.04 / 06.15.00

Unsupported basebands :
02.10.04 / 03.10.01 / 04.10.01 / 05.14.02 / 05.15.04 / 05.16.02

How to install Ultrasn0w :
- Open Cydia > Search > Ultrasn0w > Install ( Look if its 1.2.3 )
- Reboot the iPhone .

Good news i tried an worked perfectly....i dont have any probs with unlock as i have a contract with my local carrier...i installed cydia via redsnow.

Hey i have my friends phone with baseband 4.10.x on firmware 4.3.2 any update on the unlock for the baseband.

Sorry Kennet till this moment there is no way to unlock that Baseband only with Gevey SIM card that costs 35$ & they have a new version now its GEVEY PRO, I ordered one & I'll post a review maybe tomorrow, or the Rebel SIM cards that are mysterious till now .

Not to speak for the poster, but I think his post said he wasn't worried about unlocking because he had a contract with the carrier the phone was locked to. Secondarily, as Olethros and I mentioned in the other thread where you recommended Gevey Sim, if you're going to recommend these SIMs, you really need to be informing the users that in a lot of places, the Gevey Sim is illegal -- as it requires dialing 112 to establish the unlock every time. In a lot of countries, this number forwards to a legitimate emergency number, and dialing an emergency number in a non-emergency is not only illegal, but you really could be taking up resources that are needed by someone who is having a legitimate emergency. This behavior makes the Gevey Sim solution illegal in the US and Canada, as well as several countries in the EU where 112 routes to emergency numbers.

There is a specific reason that we do not recommend the Gevey Sim here, and that's really it -- if you are going to continue to recommend it, please be forthcoming with the people you're recommending to that this could cause serious legal ramifications for them.

Stupid from my side , thanks for the info , I always forget to tell this thing don't know why ! Soon I will be posting a review of this Gevey SIM , but also we should inform Users that they don't need to continue through the call just 2 sec and hang up ! All of those who are asking are desperate, they have the iPhone locked for several month's like me , so this is the only thing available because rebel SIM turned out to be a fake one . Thanks for the reply .

connecting to an emergency service for a few seconds each time you want to "unlock" could cost someone else their life. Think about that before advising people to use geveysim.

In the country @kennet posted from, 112 will connect you with the police.

The ONLY country where geveySIM is definitely safe to use (that I know of) is China as dialling 112 simply gives you a recorded message telling you the correct emergency number to dial.

As 112 has become standardised as the "emergency number" for mobile phones, almost all other countries support 112 as a valid emergency number (even if it might not be the primary emergency number for that country)

But I read if Upgrade Iphone 4 (4.0 with 1.59 baseband) to 4.3-4.3.3 with Itunes my baseband will be upgrade and I can't unlock.
Please advice.

You're not really posting in the correct thread.

By using either pwnagetool 4.3.3.1 or sn0wbreeze (latest version) - you can make a custom IPSW that allows you to reload your iPhone with 4.3.3 (note i did not say "upgrade") without updating your baseband. Then you can install the latest ultrasn0w to unlock.

There are existing threads that discuss the way to do this using these tools. Please don't reply in this thread - it's not the correct place to discuss custom IPSW.

This thread has gone seriously off-topic.

Please don't threadjack. Your thread is not about unlocking, nor is it about jailbreaking 4.2.1
You CANNOT unlock your phone with ultrasn0w. However as you are based in Asia, your phone is probably already unlocked (unless you purchased it in another country to the one you are posting from)

Start with TinyUmbrella to identify the model number of your phone - that will help you work out which country it came from. Please start a new thread (in this same section) if you need more help. Do not reply to the thread that you have threadjacked.
