Default iPhone stucks every time its rebooting

    Hi guys
I'm totally despaired. I've bought an iPhone 4 with 4.2.1 iOS locked to O2. I've got a Vodafone so decided to jailbreak and unlock. Device was restored to fabric settins at the beginning, so first thing that I've don was implementing custom IPSW with sn0wbreeze&iTunes. While this i got some errors in iTunes, then to finish jailbreaking i had to use iREB software to put my lovely phonie into "pwng DFU mode".

Okay, update has finished and what happened? It won't turn on! I was in panic, because I got no response even while pressing power button or both power and home. I was trying many methods, restoring again, but i could not kick device out of PWNED DFU mode. (I know it is DFU).

I found a way to boot a phone, and it is using redsn0w with "Just boot tethered right now" option. Okay, my breath came down, but when i tried to reboot device this happens again! And it happens every time i'm going to reboot my device.

Have you got any solves? Thanks a lot!!

Most likely, this is behavior by design. The newest tools (redsn0w, sn0wbreeze, and PwnageTool) include an untethered jailbreak, but what you're describing is a tethered jailbreak -- e.g., you have to 'Just boot tethered right now' every time the phone cycles power.

An easy fix is to re-flash a custom 4.2.1 iOS IPSW made from PwnageTool - that will incorporate the untethered jailbreak and you can keep the baseband the same. This WILL require you to have a 4.2.1 SHSH on file -- do you have any SHSH backed up?

Unfortunately not. I tried to save my SHSH, but in tinyumbrella was written that I am late and It is impossible to catch my version of SHSH. By the way, i thought that tethered version of jb means that phone is bootable but without a jailbreak. Am i right? My Phone cannot boot without a tool that KICK it out of PWND DFU mode. I'm desperated. Do you think that upgrading to 4.3.1 will be a solving? BUT does it is unlockable at all?

I can't even boot a phone! Help, how can I fix a bootloader or something linked with this, because in my opinion it is case of BL.

I already answered your question. You have applied a tethered jailbreak to your device. You will need to "Just boot tethered right now" every time your phone cycles power until you re-jailbreak your device with an untethered jailbreak. There is a 4.3.1 and 4.3.2 untethered jailbreak right now so there is no reason not to upgrade to 4.3.1 (if you have a 4.3.1 SHSH) or 4.3.2 and jailbreak that way. This is not a "BL" issue as you believe. This is behavior by design.

Without your 4.2.1 SHSH you can't do anything with 4.2.1. This has been discussed and documented to death on these forums. Your only option at this point to remove the tethered jailbreak is to re-jailbreak the device with one of the untethered jailbreaks. There are no other options or workarounds (aside from just restoring the phone with a factory ipsw and not jailbreaking.)

If you're concerned with unlocking, MAKE SURE YOU ONLY USE PWNAGETOOL TO CREATE THE CUSTOM .IPSW, CREATE IT YOURSELF! Do not download from some place online, etc. Build your very own custom .ipsw from a Mac or a hackintosh VM and use it to upgrade your phone to 4.3.1 or 4.3.2 and block the baseband update. You'll be able to install ultrasn0w afterwards and go from there.
