iPhone stuck in boot loop after erasing data from device
My wife and I got iPhone 4S's and I'm planning on selling her old 3G and my 3GS(both jailbroken), so I went on the devices under settings and hit erase all data. Now they are both stuck in a boot loop. I've tried getting them into pwned dfu mode with no luck. Does anyone know how I can fix them?

well i think i got the 3GS working, i'm going to a friends house to throw his AT&T sim card in it to make sure. but i can't get the 3G to even go into regular DFU mode, much less pwn DFU. i may just sell it to one of the people around here that buy broken ones but i wanna give it the good ol' college try first.

This is very common. Erasing all content and settings erases the entire firmware of the device, leaving it with only enough to boot and restore. You do not need to put it into DFU mode, and you shouldn't have tried putting it in Pwned DFU mode -- it may now be stuck in Pwned DFU mode. Hold power and home for 10 seconds to ensure it's cut off entirely, then plug into the PC and attempt to bring into normal DFU mode or recovery mode. Once complete, do a standard restore of iOS to the device. The phones will NOT work again until you have restored iOS. Erasing all content and settings truly does exactly what it says it does -- it erases *everything*.
