iPhone Bricked
I updated to 4.0 but then I realised that you needed a UDID activation. I tried to downgrade, but it had the 1015 error, and when I used blackra1n it failed (kept returning to connect to iTunes), and when I used iRecovery it also failed (logged out immediately, couldn't type anything in).
My friend registered my UDID for me, but it still has the "Unable to Activate" page on iTunes (Mac). What's wrong and how do I fix this?

Hi,
I'm pretty new to all this mac/iphone stuff but you could try putting your phone in to DFU mode and re-applying the OS4 restore.
With iTunes 9.1 loaded and your phone connected, hold down the sleep/wake and home button, when the screen goes black, let go of the sleep/wake button and keep holding the home button until iTunes finds your phone and tells you it needs restoring.
The do the restore process again that you've already done and it may work again....I hope!
Good Luck

I can also register your UDID for you for only £2 (approx. $3). Send it to james.munnelly@googlemail.com with your UDID as a note and I'll get you activated within 5 minutes

iTunes 9.2 would likely solve the activation issues.
As always a pastebin of the iPhone restore log helps diagnostics a lot.
Ignore the UDID trolls, that is only required for the betas.
