Hey fellas, i HAVE an iPhone 4 stuck in the recovery mode loop. It had 4.3.5, i tried to downgrade to 4.3.3 but the process failed, i have the blobs for 4.3.5 saved, so i tried to restore to 4.3.5 stock firmware, the process goes through but then i get error 1013, used tiny umbrella to get it out and nothing, keeps on the same, use tiny umbrella for the tss server and same thing happened, then did it without the tss server and got error 3910, what can i do to fix this fellas???

No, just have the 4.3.5 blobs, how do i get the logs?

And also, new problem, when i came home the phone was on the activation screen, i left it going thru the restore process with the tss serve running, restoring to custom 4.3.3 built with sn0wbreeze. When i got home the phone was on the activation screen with the connect to itunes logo and ll the weird languages going thru, so i opened itunes and got this message:

We are unable to complete your activation at this time.

Please disconnect your iPhone from your computer and reconnect it later and we should be able to activate it. We apologize for the inconvenience this may cause.

Now when i conntect the phone i hear the sound it makes like when u connect the phone to the cahrger, tiny umbrella says the phone is on 4.3.3 but the screen is black, i dont see anything, anyone has any idea what's going on?

P.S: never mind the activation error, the activation went through, i was just trying to activate while the tss server was running. I still can't see anything on the screen of the phone, is all black, and i can hear the texts n call coming in. Any ideas what might have caused this? Tiny Umbrella still says the phone is on 4.3.3, apparently the downgrade was successful

Click on the 'Restore Problems?' link in my sig, that will cover where to get the logs from to post for us. Are you attempting to activate with the same carrier's SIM as the phone was initially locked to?

I'm not sure what state the phone currently is in -- without SHSH it's not possible for you to restore 4.3.3 to it, so that likely has a lot to do with the black screen.

oK, but the itunes activated the phone, the activation went thru with ATT and i heard the texts coming in, but with black screen. Well, ima get the logs and post them

Ok n1ckn4me, u were right, the phone was going on a unproper dfu mode loop, so i ran the restore for the stock 4.3.5 and now im back to the recovery mode loop with the connect to itunes symbol on the screen and error 1013 when the restore is about to finish. Any tips aside from gettin u the logs?

Did you try using redsn0w or tinyumbrella to kick it out of recovery? Usually a 1013 can just be kicked to get back to a working state and relates to the version of iOS installed not matching the baseband version installed (and is expected behavior when you're blocking baseband updates, etc). If you're jailbrbroken, use redsn0w to 'just boot tethered', BUT since you said you had restored a stock firmware, you should just be able to use TinyUmbrella to 'Kick phone out of recovery'.

Yea, i tried redsnow to just boot and it went back to the recovery loop with the connect to itunes logo on the screen, then used tiny umbrella and same thing happened. Im clueless rite now

Detailed Instructions to Reproduce the Problem:
-Had 4.3.5 on my iPhone 4.
-put it in dfu mode, ran tiny umbrella's TSS server
-tried to restore to 4.3.3
-Phone was stuck in dfu mode loop, improper DFU mode
-restored back to stock 4.3.5
-Now im stuck in recovery mode with error 1013, tiny umbrella wont kick it out

Also it seems like itunes is not finishing the restore on the phone, because i get the error before the restore bar completes.
And when i connect it to tiny umbrella it says the firmware on the phone is 4.3.3

FINALLY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I built a custom 4.3.5 IPSW with pwnage 4.3.3 and it went through, phone is alive and working now. Thanx for the help tho n1ckn4m3
