Default iPhone 4 Baseband help needed

I am new to iPhone so pardon my lack of knowledge.

I have iPhone4 that I bought; I am using it on Tmobile USA. The version is 4.3.3 (8J2) Modem Firmware is 03.10.01. This has been unlocked using Gevy SIM. This phone is still under warranty.

The problem I am having is, the battery is not holding good charge; I took it to Apple store they said they could replace the battery; but when they said first I would have to restore it to factory default for them to even look at it. So that would mean going to latest version 4.3.5. So what should I do? If I do that can I again unlock the phone. Right now I have to do 112 each time the phone is powered down I have no problem doing it; it works okay.

Suggestion is highly appreciated. Thanks in advance.

My advice, get it swapped out now, while they are still offering 4.3.5 replacements.

gevey sim is fixed in iOS5, you are safe as long as you never update to iOS5

this is a not an endorsement for geveysim, we do not recommend people use gevey sim due to it's grey/shaky legal status.

GeveySIM Unlock will work with 4.3.5

Full compatibility with T-Mobile requires jailbreak - that will be a tethered jailbreak for 4.3.5
