    Cool iPhone 4 a1349

My iPhone is disabled and locked becaues i entered the wrong password too many times. I also want to hacktivate this phone. I am not necessarily new to iPhones or OSX or iOS, but am having some trouble and was wondering if anyone knew anything about this. Cool Forum site btw. I would like to be able to get it at least unlocked and jailbroken. Im almost done downloading iTunes. the file is too big for my hotspot waiting to get on wifi. can anyone please help me find morphius?

When an iPhone has been disabled due to invalid passcode, the only thing that can be done is to put the device into DFU mode and restore. There is no way to remove the passcode like there used to be. Here's what you need to do:

    1) Download and install iTunes
    2) Plug the phone into the computer, make sure it is powered on.
    3) While the phone is plugged into the computer, hold the power & home buttons for 10 seconds, then continue holding the home button but let go of the power button for 3 seconds. The phone should connect to your computer in DFU mode, and nothing should be displayed on the phone's screen. If you see the connect to iTunes logo, re-try the process.
    4) Once the phone is connected in DFU, proceed with a restore. If you have SHSH for 5.x, you can restore to that with TinyUmbrella. If not, you'll need to restore to iOS 6.0.1, which does not have an untethered jailbreak yet that I am aware of (but does have a tethered jailbreak).

This should restore functionality to the device.
