    Default iPhone 4, 4.2.1, greenpois0n, lockscreen pwd wrong 3 times, can't restore

    Folks,

    Need your help.

    My nephew tried to guess the lockscreen pwd and locked it. Now I'm stuck on that greenpoison logo for several minutes and then it turns off.

    So, put the iPhone in the restore mode, and tried the standard restore through iTunes to the latest firmware (4.3.2), and I'm getting the message "The iPhone "iPhone" could not be restored. This device isn't eligible for the request build".

    Trying to guess here, I've tried using tinyumbrella - it goes through the firmware verification, but after the message "Preparing iPhone for restore...", I get the error "The iPhone "iPhone" could not be restored. An unknown error occurred (1604)."

    Using iTunes 10.2.1;
    iPhone was at 4.2.1, using greenpoison;
    Here is the latest iphone updater log (I've erased the UUID, OK?):

    Stop TSS server, close TinyUmbrella, if you have modified you hosts file, revert back to original, put iPhone in recovery mode and press restore, let iTunes download the latest firmware and install on your iPhone.

    Let me know how it goes,
    Rafael

    Here what error 1604 means :

    Error 1604

    Device was not pwned (signature checks were not blocked). Custom firmware can't be restored. Can also happen when there's a problem with the ipsw.

    My advice is :

    - Put the device in DFU mode .
    - Get iReb from HERE and run it , then let it clean your device to prepare it for jailbreak .
    - Run Greenp0ison again , it should work .

    Good Luck ;-)

    Have you checked your hosts file, is it redirecting gs.apple.com to anywhere?

    The server you are contacting is clearly responding with a "(3194) This device isn't eligible for the requested build". Apple's server's should not respond with this error unless they have a misconfiguration.
