Default iPhone 3G's stuck in recovery, tried everything Ive found, still stuck.

Hey guys, I have 2 iPhone 3G 16s stuck in recovery. I dont know why as I got them like this. Ive tried:
-Restore and Update on iTunes (error 40)
    -Restore to 4.1 (error 40)
    -Restore to 4.2.1 (error 40)
-Restore to Pwnage cooked 4.1 (error 1604)
    -Restore to Pwnage cooked 4.1 06.15.00 (1604)
-Restore to Pwnage cooked 4.2.1 (error 1604)
-Restore to Pwnage cooked 4.2.1 06.15.00
    -TinyUmbrella Exit Recovery
    -RecBoot Exit Recovery

I dont know what else to do. I did searched but nothing seems to work. Ive tried turning off and on the computer (mac OSX)

    Am I missing something??

What firmware version are you using ?
What baseband version is on the phone at this time ?

You should be able to restore using stock firmware 3.1.3.
If the baseband on the phone is higher than the on on 3.1.3 then you will encounter error 1015 after the restore. At that point you should be able to use tinyUmbrella to kick device out of recovery.

Hey dude, thanks for chiming in.. I just tried. Returned error 28.
The first one was on 4.2.1 not jailbroken or anything baseband 05.xx. I tried to restore to Pwnage cooked 4.2.1 06.15 and went to recovery mode.
The 2nd one I got it in recovery mode so im assuming the same thing was tried and it probably has the baseband 06.15.
I dont know what else to try man.

Maybe something in the computer is preventing the restore?

Based on the very limited details you have provided, I suggest you try physically disconnecting the battery for a while. Then try a pwned DFU mode restore.

    -iTunes 10.1.2 (17)
-iPhone 1. was running 4.2.1 05.xx -- iPhone 2. I got it stuck in recovery mode.
    -Mac OS X 10.6.6

Logs: I have 172 logs. A lot of iPhone had passed by my computer.
Also, I had erased the gs.apple.com lines of the logs to restore a 3gs that was driving me crazy. It did work, but maybe this can be the problem now?

Ok now, any iPhone in DFU mode returns error 1600. I read its a usb problem. I tried with different cables, different ports, turned off and on the computer. Still error 1600.

I know its in proper DFU mode as I run redsn0w 9.6rc7 - Point it to 4.2.1 - check 'just enter pwned DFU mode' and when I go ahead to do it, it just says 'DONE'. It means it already was in the correct DFU mode. Still error 1600. Apple's website has the "specific error codes and resolutions" but 1600 isnt listed.
