Default iPhone 3G[S] 32GB Factory Unlocked reboots 5-7 mins on call

i guess i have found the possible problem and fix .

You will need the file "mobilewatchdog" from 3.1.2 which can be found at
    Code:
    /System/Library/SystemConfiguration/mobilewatchdog.bundle/
on your 4.2.1 using ssh / iphone explorer browse to
    Code:
    /System/Library/SystemConfiguration/mobilewatchdog.bundle/
and replace it with "mobilewatchdog" from 3.1.2

    reboot

before my phone used to reboot on call by max 10 mins. after replacing "mobilewatchdog" i have made calls upto 45 mins and the phone dos not reboot.

i am attaching the log file for people to understand better.

Please do report back if it works for you

ps:- i cant post the file here. guess you all know why

OLD:- I have a iPhone 3G[S] 32GB Factory Unlocked on 4.1 when i use a supported sim it works fine but when i use a unsupported sim it reboots 5-7 mins when i am on the call. i tried creating bundles and everything still no use. any fix for that

30 views & no posts i guess there is no solution as of now ... but some possible solutions

i tried restoring and setting as a new phone.
i tried wortels patch and creating carrier bundles and symlinks.

why is it rebooting with a unsupported sim and why not supported sim ?

    anyone tried the stuff above.

is there any logs i can check to make things clearer

another problem i am not able to merge calls. call waiting is enabled & call conferencing is enabled

    syslog shows
    Oct 21 19:30:04 iPhone MobilePhone[653]: [_calls[0] isConferenced] = 0, isMergingCalls = 0

edit: i am tring to replicate the issue where the phone reboots in call but its not rebooting any more dont know what i did. but now there is "\var\mobile\Library\Carrier Bundle.bundle" and a new "Operator Bundle.bundle" i can post my bundles if some one wants to investigate.

I also have an officially unlocked iphone 3GS 32gb that exhibits the same issue your seeing with your phone. I've not tried mine with an original sim, and point out my phone is not jailbroken or has otherwise altered from original. I'm hoping that when 4.2 is released the issue will go away.

Update: Just updated to 4.2GM and the issue appears resolved, made a 9+ minute call with no reboot. Hope this helps.

Update 2: My phone rebooted during a call yesterday. Not sure of the call length but it's clearly an issue that I will be taking up with apple.
