Default iphone 3g jailborken/unlocked baseband 6.15.00 wifi help

So I have jailbroken and unlocked it using the redsnow and ipad baseband version.
everything seemed to work just fine.
Wifi was working for a few days, then it stopped. I reset network settings and nothing. When I reset all settings it found it again and then I had to reconnect.
That lasted about 10 minutes and then I lost it. Now nothing works. Doesn't even find a wifi signal.
Can anyone help? Was just about to sell this phone when I turned it on and saw this.
    Thanks in advance

Is your IMEI / MAC address on the phone blank when you check the settings?
The preceding forum post has been brought to you by the letter "N" and the number 42.

I can't speak for his situation, but on my iPhone (3G, 4.2.1, 6.15 using redsn0w), both IMEI and MAC are present. No issues there.

I'm having this exact same problem. dmagalhaes has described it perfectly ... works for a bit, then just falls off completely. Can't even find networks. Turning Airplane mode or Wifi ON/OFF doesn't yield results either. But, if WiFi is turned ON after having been OFF for a while (over an hour?), WiFi will find networks and work for a bit ... but only for a few minutes, as stated above. Then it drops out, and the cycle begins again.

*Another thing to add: WiFi worked flawlessly before upgrade to 6.15 baseband*

I'm beginning to wonder if it's a hardware issue. The nature of the problem is very inconsistent.
