    Default ipad baseband question

Hi guy's my iphone is now up and running....iphone 3g

    Baseband 6.15
    Bootloader 6.4
    Model MB489

I used tiny umbrella to back up something as requested but I didn't know for sure what I was backing up. It said in the info bit, Cydia reported already saved. My question is how do I find out what it saved, as I think I may have saved my old baseband, before the ipad one installed.

Also how do you restore it again.

...and is it alright to up-grade to 4.2 as iTunes keep bugging me to...

    Many Thanks

The SHSH does not contain the baseband, it is *impossible* to downgrade your baseband now.

Only if you use custom IPSW made with Pwnagetool 4.1.3 - I don't recommend it though.

Starting with FW 4.2.1 if you have 06.15 on your iPhone you won’t ever be able to restore to stock firmware (it will fail). You’ll need to only restore to custom IPSWs (then again, if you’re unlocker you should already be doing that).
