    Post ip4 4.1 limera1n JB'ed Cydia crash

    Hello

i just JBed a ip4 with Limera1n and installed cydia. once i open cyida it crash and got a popup box :

    Malformed line 2
    etc/apt/sources.list.d/cydia.list

it will not allow me to add and source to it. i have done some research, sound like reinstalling cydia is the only way. i have no way to install SSH. also the phone is on 4.1 with NO shsh saved. is there a way i can reinstall cydia without going to 4.2.1 ?

First of all... don't use limera1n or blackra1n, they have some stupid design decisions that cause a lot of people to experience post-jailbreak issues.

Redsn0w has some options that might help.

Get any redsn0w 0.9.6 version higher than beta 3 (I recommend you just grab 0.9.6 release candidate 8) and the SSH bundle from here.
    http://sites.google.com/a/iphone-dev...edirects=0&d=1

    Redsn0w 0.9.6b3 and higher
will now let you install your own custom bundles independent of Cydia (the bundle can actually be Cydia if you’ve compiled it on your own). These bundles can be up to 15MB in size, and should be in the form of a gzip-compressed tar file.
Simply choose "already jailbroken" and then choose the "install bundle" option.

This will allow you to install SSH onto your device even though you did not use redsn0w to originally jailbroke.

Then you can try and fix Cydia (start with removing the incorrect entry in /etc/apt/sources.list.d/cydia.list ) then run
    Code:
    apt-get update
before trying to open Cydia again.
