Default Install openssh on iphone os 4?

Hi, is possible to install openssh and the bsd subsystem manually via a custom ipsw firmware?. I don't need cydia or any kind of jailbreak (now unavailable).
I want only connect to my 3GS with a root permissions.

P.S: i have keys to decrypt the 4.0 firm and the bsd subsytem got from cydiainstaller.bundle

    Not without a jailbreak.

You can't run non sandboxed code (ie not an IPA) on the iPhone without a jailbreak.

Simply decrypting and modifying the rootfs is not enough because you can't run it on the 3GS without breaking the chain of trust established at bootup.

There is no public jailbreak for the 3GS higher than 3.1.2. It is theoretically possible one could be made available for old bootrom 3GS without revealing any new information to Apple. This would be via a pwnagetool custom IPSW and would require the iPhone to be jailbroken in advance. If you have already loaded non-custom OS 4.0b1 or 3.1.3 on your 3GS and don't have a SHSH for 3.1.2 or lower then you have lost the ability to jailbreak for now.

3.1.3 can be Jailbroken. Running it on my 3GS now. 4.0 isn't there for the 3GS yet though.

This is not what I meant. There is no public direct jailbreak for 3.1.3 or 4.0beta

What is possible is to load a custom ipsw if the 3GS is old bootrom and already jailbroken. This is what you are referring to
