I am wondering if any one can help me here if i should not post this in forum then i am sorry!

I am a new to iphone 4 verizon bought it from CL without any research when i went to get activated they told me its been reported stolen and they cannot give me service on that phone

called apple and they said if some thing is wrong with hardware then only they will replace it!

i was wondering if there is anyway i can make my iphone unrestorable or do something to it where warranty will cover that phone and they will give me refurbished phone

oh by the way iphone 4 version 4.2.8 (8E401)
modem firmware 1.0.06

I will really appreciate help, i paid 350 and i cannot even use this phone any more

I'm sorry man I really wish I could help you but all I have is bad news for a reply. Once the imei/esn number is blacklisted, it's blacklisted forever(unless the original owner calls in and fesses up). My suggestion? Go back to the store you got it from(don't know what CL is, I live far away), and see what's going on. What's the return policy on those things anyway? Did you sign for an all-sales-final deal?
