    Default how to upgrade 3.1.2 to 4.0.1??

    not sure which i have to use for upgrading IOS 4.0.1

    model : 3gs new bootrom
    version : 3.1.2 ( 7D11)
    model firmware : 05.11.07

    which tool i've to use for ios 4.0.1 upgrade..

    Do you have a SHSH saved for iOS 4.0.1? (via Cydia or via TinyUmbrella)?

    Otherwise, you have zero chance of restoring to 4.0.1

    yes, i've SHSH saved on cyndia for 4.0.1.

    can you suggest how to unlock & jailbreak procedure
